my deepest apologies

for those who know me well or follow my blog closely, i feel like i owe you my deepest apologies for my absence and not keeping you abreast of my highly guarded doings....

As all you may know or heard, ever since i got back from my six month stint in the southern hemisphere i was promptly called back to duty on my fourth year with the high acclimated show MAD MEN



where this year we were surprised with multiple emmy nominations
and now that my season is slowly sadly coming to an end i am here to make an oath to keep my blog current with my ever so exiting events ....please stay tuned

i just wanted to give proper respect to our hard working team at MAD MEN who just last night at the golden globe awards brought home, yet, another award for the best tv mini series Since its debut, the series has garnered an Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series; three Golden Globe Awards for Best Television Drama Series; a Peabody Award; a Producers Guild Award; two Writers Guild Awards; AFI Awards for one of the Top 10 Outstanding Television Programs of 2007 and 2008; both the 2008 BAFTA Award and Royal Television Society Award for International Program; and four Television Critics Association Awards, including Program of the Year.

basically we just keep killing it do to one of the hardest and coolest crews ever.

conrad hilton job

just spend the last three days scouting for my next job in one of the coolest beach towns in all of the southern americas "PUNTA DEL ESTE" regarded as the Argentinean riviera is at the most eastern tip of uruguay a 45 min. flight or a five hour ferry and drive from buenos aires considered as the east Hamptons of the south in its peek season which is from december through march one can see not only the most expensive cars in the region but witness a parade of hottest women i have ever seen, not to mention, a sunrise and sunset cause of its splendid global position. I was fortunate to have the liberty of staying at the "THE CONRAD" which is the biggest resort hotel in the area but ironic enough cause only a few months ago we featured conrad hilton in a few episodes of MAD MEN's thrird season. i'm sure a picture tells a thousand stories , here are just a few ...

first video shoot with my MARK II

last week i shot and basically directed my first rock video with my trusty canon MARK II

The band is a mendocinian classic rock band called "MAS TE VALE" and was shot entirely at the old Bodega de GIOL, an amazing location that was basically loaned to us for free. With minimal gear and the help of some very cool folks the footage looks extraordinary. Next week i take the RAW footage to Buenos Aires to off-line and hopefully get it all the done before the month is over.
